axle/gears questions
ok today i blew my rear axle dana 35 and i have a dana 44 axle out of my parts jeep i need to know wat gears are in the 44 before i put it in the 44 came out of an 87cherokee and i need to put it in my 96cherokee also do i need to change anything else to make the axle work i need to know fast because its my dailydriver and need to get to work and skool thanks

Engine: Used engine just put in less than 79kmiles onit jeepersCreepers 60mm TB, '99-'01 intake, BorlaHeader
Take the diff. cover off and look on the ring gear. There should be some numbers on it like 41 10 divide them and you get the ratio. If you can't find the numbers count the number of ring teeth and the number of pinion teeth and then divide.

Engine: 12 hole bosch Injectors
the dana 44 came in 87 to 89 xj with standard it was 307 with automatic it was 355 if the donor xj had the factory towing package it came with 373s
