How do I replace the bushings for the top control arms that bolt to the axle the axle bushings are shot do I need to have them pressed?

 

im not exactly sure if u can put newbushing in the upper control arms probobly can but i know u can get a brand new set of stock upper control arms with the bushings in them for around 40 to 50 dolars for the pair. there are lots of parts websites that have them and can be found by doing a google search. i think i got mine from autopartswarehouse.com

You can install them without a press. A 4lb hammer will do nicely.

Getting them out can be a booger though.

 

I did mine and lets just say it is a royal PITA!!! Had to drop the axle to even get to them.

 

Damn lol how much do the cost are they as much as a pain trying to get the conrol arms back on lol
