Axel LSD? or Open?
I plan on doing my diff fluid change and after doing some research I found that you should add a friction fluid to your diff if you have a LSD.
I have a D35 and noticed on dirt roads both tires spin, but on wet cement only one.
Question is how can I tell if it is a LSD or not?
Besides obviously cracking the diff open.
Also does anybody know if their is a VIN website out their for Jeeps were you can enter your VIN and pull your window sticker?
I know for my Ford Explorer their is a site.
Thanks guys!

Ok after a little searching I found that.
Jack up the rear put in neutral and roll a tire.
If both tires move same direction it is LSD, if the tires move opposite it is open.

Adding the... Additive... To an open diff won't hurt it. I put it in mine when I changed the fluid, and I'm pretty sure it's open, but I never actually checked.
