AX15 Transmission Mount
Howdy folks,
The FSM is confusing me on proper bolt torques for reassembling my transmission mount and crossmember (AX15). There are four sets of bolts, I think:
- Crossmember to frame = 31 ft lb
- Crossmember to mount (4 bolts) = (?)
- Mount to transmission bracket (2 bolts) = 55 ft lb (?)
- Bracket to transmission case (4 bolts) = 40 ft lb (?)
Thanks!

Just crank them down with about a 12 inch ratchet. Forearm tight.

Well forearm tight stripped one of the frame nuts...
So I think I am going to try chasing the threads with a repair tap and getting a new M10.8 bolt.
If that doesn't work...helicoil time.
I pray that tapping or drilling and tapping doesn't bust the nut loose.
