Hey all. First time rebuilding this. Can't remove 5th gear counter and assembly. Any tips? Can I use threaded holes to push off gear? Broke my universal puller and bending 1/4 angle iron. Thanks for any advice.

Snap on comes tomorrow and I'm hoping to not buy their puller todoi t

 

You removed the clips >..start at 12.34

Thanks all. The only thing holding is the one c clip at end of shaft. Took a 3 jaw puller and a wicked impact. Came off very slowly.

 

Pulled used. I can see the bent 1/4 inch plate using bolts into gear
