AX15 pilot bearing question
I have a '91 XJ, 4.0 and is currently a 5 speed, im not a fan of the internal slave cylinder and recently came upon a deal for an ax15 and 231 combo from a '94 xj, needless to say this is external slave. My main question is about the pilot bearing size, i have read somewhere that around '93 or so they started using a larger pilot bearing. Can i simply remove the pilot bearing from my '91 (which is bad) and replace it with the newer bearing to work with the newer tranny? Also will i be able to use my old clutch as it only has around 8 or 9k on it. Sorry if this doesnt make much sense, im half asleep
