AX15 Manual Tranny Question
In need of a rebuild/replacement of my AX15 tranny. Have several issues with it and seeing how its the only thing that hasn't been replaced, I'm sure its the cause of the issues I am having.
Will any AX15 manual 5spd tranny work or do I need to get one specifically from/for a Cherokee? I would think they would be the same, but not sure.
I seen a posting on craigslist for a rebuilt AX15 but it stated it was a Jeep Wrangler AX15 so not sure if it would work or not.
Any and all help is appreciated.

They are the same. The only differences you will find with them is internal to external slaves depending on the year. My AX15 is from a wrangler, no longer remember the year tho
