Ax15 Cherokee Swap help!
Greeting,
This is my first post here and because of the information I acquired from here to do this swap I figured this was the best place to ask. So over the past few months I did an AX15 swap in my 88' Cherokee to remove the horrible Peugeot that i blew. Anyways i just finished it up and on the first start i had major vibrations. The Ax15 was out of a 94 and recently rebuilt. I believe the problem is the input shaft is out of line due to the pilot bearing but before i rip it all out to determine i thought i might get some input from you guys.

Np231 from a 95 Cherokee
Peugeot----to-----Ax15 from a 94 Cherokee
If you require any more information please let me know, i will gladly provide it.
Thanks for reading

Did you line up the input shaft ? If not then you could have ruined the tranny when you ran it.At least thats what I was told when i did mine.Fortunatly for me I had it lined up right so I didn't have any problem.

I am fairly certain it was lined up and i had the pilot bearing machined to my specs. I might have a harmonic balancer issue but im not sure why. I have never dealt with one before so im not sure. It has vibrations around 1500-2500 rpms. Lets hope to god I did not just ruin my 1000 dollar transmission before i even got to use it. This swap has been nothing but a train wreck so it shouldn't surprise me i guess
