AX 5 Longevity

I have been reading posts about AX 5 issues. I know the transmission is smaller/weaker. I have a 2000 xj 2.5L that is stock with currently 85000 miles. The transmission is shifting fine now, and I do not drive her hard. I was just wondering if anyone can give any foresight into how long this transmission could last. I would like to avoid doing swaps at this point because money is tight and from what I have read it is not really cost affective option.

not sure about if swap will be better, but my outlook is "if it ain't broke don't fix it"...unless you are doing a build...mine is my DD and fishing rig..
