I replaced my clutch not too long ago and recently my throw out bearing shat the bed. I wasn't sure what the problem was because it was making a metal on metal grinding and wouldnt shift. So I left the trail and had to power shift it the whole way home. I went to move it after driving by starting it in reverse. Now its in reverse but the shifter is in neutral. You can kind of feel the shift pattern but will not go into any gear at all. When I took the tranny out and removed the shifter nothing seemed bent or broken but was still doing the same thing. The throw out bearing was trashed but it still wouldn't shift.

I can only think of two things:
1: the synchros went or
2: I've been told that it might just be low or completely out of fluid

I had it standing straight up and down on the bell housing and no fluid came out of where the shifter goes.
