Fuse Box
I have an 87 XJ that I think might need some fuse box maintenance. Should I dive right in or take it to an auto electrical shop? I replaced some bulbs in the right rear end and replaced a blower fuse while sitting in front of O'Reillys. On the way home my gauges and instrument light quit working. Sound simple or heavy knowledge intensive?

I wouldn't touch it unless you know what you're doing. One crossed wire and POOF, there goes the harness. not to mention you can burn the Jeep down if it's really bad.
Just start with replacing fuses, if a fuse keeps popping something's shorting out.
