Hello again,

I'm having a little trouble with my AX-15. The clutch makes a long squeak on the way down, and there's a slight pop after shifting up, during the release of the clutch on the up stroke. It only pops when there's a bit of torque going through, like the engine is revved a little higher than it needs to be for the next gear. The *pop* used to be a *click* and it's most audible when I shift up into second, but it doesn't happen everytime. It doesn't drive any different, and the transmission disengages and shifts just as smoothly as it did when it was replaced 40,000 miles ago.

Any suggestions? I don't want my clutch to bust on a 450 mile drive to Moscow.

lol, just to reply so you don't think I'm ignoring you.

I have no clue why it would pop, do you have any play in the clutch pedal? or is it stiff the whole time. If the clutch is fine and it feels healthy and stiff when you push on it and your release bearing is doing its job and its not hard to change into gears. Then its got to be your transmission slowly dieing on you lol.

I have an AX15 also but I've never had any problems out of it besides the clutch had about an inch of play when I first installed the trans and I just had to bleed the clutch and adjust is.

I'm considering dumping the lines, checking the master cylinder out, and then re-bleeding the lines.
