Hi im new to the forum and cherokees. I am picking up a 1990 cherokee with a supposed slipping tranny. so i started looking into the different trannies that these cherokees have. i work for toyota and as i was looking into the Aw4 tranny i found some info saying the internals were the same a an A340e/f. Which comes in several toyota trucks a 2000 modle tundra with a v6 being one of them. I was woundering if any of you seasoned jeep guys knew anything of this and could maybe shed some light on my research.

Internally it is the same tranny, the case is different.
