aw4 selenoid issue - with link

ok guys found this jeep, looks like a deal if I ever seen one, but he/she says there is a possible solenoid issue

any idea what the aw4 would have? fairly easy trans to work on?

just wondering if anybody knows what it could be or if this happened to them

working on getting more info asap

Ask the current owner what symptoms the truck is exhibiting.
My '96 AW4 had a bad solenoid in it that made it skip first gear when put in drive.
I also had one years ago, that made it stay in first gear...

as far a price goes? im not a transmission guy so I would have a shop look it over, but are we talking a fairly simple process or almost a complete teardown?
