Oh, I'm sure its fine, I just wanted to chime in....That cable adjustment, I have mine so there is no slack, and no tension on it. For me, on mine something doesn't seem right with that auto adjust business.

You did check the fluid, idling hot, in park....it will slip if it's low.

Yeah, I set mine in the middle, I still don't totally understand what it does, but it seems fine for now.
I actually changed my tranny fluid from the drain bolt for the second time today (I did it for the first time since owning the jeep 2 weeks ago) and I filled it up with almost 4 quarts of new stuff. I've been checking it periodically and it seems like it's in the middle of the hashes.

I may have to try that cable adjustment. My throttle response isn't too peachy. Cleaning out my TB would probably help too. Sounds like my saturday is gonna be a fun one

When mine used to get hot from coolant reservoir warpage/failure, mine wouldn't shift until 5k rpm. The AW4 doesn't tolerate high heat well.

Verify good temp and adjust TV cable to preference. Looks like you've addressed the TPS.

I've heard when adjusting the TV cable, you have someone fully depress the gas pedal instead of turning the butterfly wot.

The AW4 is tough a nails.
