AW4 probs

AW4 probs
90 cherokee, 4.0 204k miles. When starting from stop it won't start in 1st when selector is in D. If I manually pull the shifter to 1st it will start in 1st. Then when I get to highway speeds it won't shift into OD. Just started doing this. Anyone got an opinion?? Thanks

Coupla things.
First, click on the pink link in my signature and do #10. Photos are there for ya.
Secondly, look up under the passenger side dash for the TCU fuse. Inline flat fuse in a yellow connector/loom. Check it and clean the socket. Photo below for ya.
Thirdly, since you own a Renix Jeep, take the time to do #1, #3, and #5 at a bare minimum.
