Sorry, my NSS just kicked. Negative sarcasm switch.

You say you mentioned disassembly and cleaning in the first post but I seem to have trouble finding it. Unless you are talking about a post in a completely different thread that I have not read.

It only works on original screwed-together sensors... the aftermarket epoxied ones can't be disassembled without cutting.

Sorry for the misunderstanding. I wasn't trying to be argumentative. I just wasn't clear of my intentions about picturing a neutral switch.
No worries I think we are all talking about the same part. The part you are talking about as far as I know is called an NSS. The speed sensor I am not 100% sure about but I am going to go look at my trany now..
