I am wanting to put a flip out nav in 91 cherokee but cant put in stock location because the screen will hit dash. I was thinking i could move the heater controls up where the stock stereo is and put the avic in there place. Maybe someone has ran into this problem before and has some ideas?

 

Haha good luck with that. Maybe space the flip out out from the dash in the factory location? That way it wont hit the dash. Send some pics of your dash.

 

that, or you could space it out just a bit, and set ur flip up so it doesnt flip to a flat degree and it will work. i used to do custom installs. we had to do that with a old school Fury. it worked and looked amazing if you do it correctly
