Default Auxiliary Lights tied into door chime?

Here I go thinking again… I just installed a set of auxiliary (Arc) lights and was about to pull apart my headliner and overhead console to complete the wiring/switches. That’s when I started wondering how hard it would be to find the circuit that would tie them into the door chime/buzzer. That way, I wouldn’t come back to find a dead battery if some moron (Me) hits the switch and forgets…

I’d love to hear from anyone that has tied an auxiliary into the door chime!

Arc lights? I’m calling them that because they are mounted up and just bright enough to use to illuminate you’re turning radius (Arc) and front tires when off roading at slower speeds. They are step one in a series of lights for close in illumination. IE; rock lights, backups and side floods… with the way the mirrors will break away they can also be helpful when pointed directly out to the side for night time work around the vehicle…

If you are going to chime it, just get a buzzer off an older 80s chevy pu or blazer. It is a little black box up above the fuze block. it is self contained and can be put anywhere in your new circuit.

Thanks, but it seems like it would be just as easy to tie into the circuit that I allready have in place without any extra expence. I would think I would just have to run my control voltage going to my aux relay into the correct control voltage on the chime circuit.
