Aux Fan
Relay is good, fuse good. Have a manual over ride switch the works intermittently. Today, the jeep was hot open the hood and the fan was not on spun it and it went on. Does that mean the fan is shot resistance in the windings shot? If so, what replacement should I go with?

I think you've answered your own question.
Change it.
Motors can be bought as I understand. I have never had to buy one. Check around.
If you are going to replace the fan assembly I would recommend an OEM equivalent, not some NASA space ship/voodo fan.

Four Seasons makes a replacement motor but its almost as much as the whole fan.
If you can find a working fan from a 96+ they are supposed to move more air and make less noise.
