Auto to Manual Conversion DRIVESHAFT Interchange (Potential Stick?)
I'm not entirely sure how accurate this is, but my local junkyard, Pull & Save, is also combined with Spaldings Auto Parts, who has supplied software(s) that provides an interchangeable parts list.
THIS IS FOR MY YEAR SPECIFIC, it might be the same for your year(s), but you never know...
I'm going to convert my 1987 Jeep Cherokee 4.0 from automatic to manual. I asked them what other vehicles I can get a rear driveshaft from (4WD), and here's the list they gave me:
The following rear driveshafts will (supposedly) interchange among all of these (I'm assuming 4 wheel drive):
-Cherokee 2001 4.0 M/T
-Cherokee 1987-1993 4.0 M/T
-Cherokee 1994-2000 4.0 M/T
-Comanche 1987-1992 4.0 M/T
-Wagoneer 1987 6cyl M/T
