When I shut off my XJ and exit the vehicle, a short times passes and the doors lock. How do I disable this feature?

 

do you have some kind if aftermarked alarm or central locking installed ?

 

Not that I can find anywhere. I have been through the entire engine bay and under dash and nothing is located. All appears original. Come to think of it, I remember a keyless entry system that mounts in the door does have that feature. Ill have to check.

Jeep never had something like that on their vehicles did they that when you walk away after a period of time the doors all lock?
