I installed an aussie locker in my front dana 30 about a month and a half ago and it was installed to the manufacturer specs. It was perfectly smooth for about 5 weeks, barely any clicking and barely noticeable in 2 hi. But in the past two weeks I've noticed a grinding sound and a slight vibration when I make sharp left turns. It doesn't happen when I turn right at all. Does anyone know what could be causing this. and what the solution would be.

Sounds to me like the left side of your Aussie locker isn't unlocking all the way when you make a left turn. Are you positive that you did every single step as per the instructions that came with the Ausssie, in the box? Is it possible that you forgot to re-install your factory thrust washer on the left side? Could be one of your pins or springs on the left side of the Aussie didn't seat all the way and maybe popped out on you.
I have Aussie lockers front and rear in my XJ and haven't had a moments grief with either one in almost a year but, I have a front cable axle disco in my 91 so my front locker gets a little bit of a better life. The right wheel is disconnected from the diff. when I am operating it on the road.
Just trying to throw some things, you can check, out there for you. I hope this helps.

did you check all the specs on everything? the clicking noise is perfectly normal when your making a turn. but mine does nothing like your describing. i would say your best bet it to call aussie tomarrow.

Well Im 99% everything was just as it should be when I installed it. I followed the instructions to a "T" and made sure everything was within the correct specs. But something may have moved or I may have screwed something up. Im going to pull it apart this weekend and double check everything. Thanks for all the advice guys and I'll let you know what the conclusion is.
