I'm debating between a JCR stage 4 front bumper or an Aussie locker for my daily driver. I'm leaning towards the Aussie, but want to know how people feel about putting in in a DD. It'd be going in my Chryco 8.25 rear.

Well, you can only buy an Aussie Locker for your Chryco 8.25 if it is the newer 29 spline version. I have had my Aussie Lockers front and rear in my XJ since Christmas. I drive it Daily and all has been GREAT!!!!!

I debated over the same thing, and I needed the locker more than a HD bumper. And I have had mine in for about 1-2 months and there is no real difference in how it has handled.

Yes each Aussie Locker comes with a sticker. I have two so I got one for each side.
The rear locker didn't really effect my mileage at all. The front locker knocked my mileage down about 2-3 MPG because your front running gear will all spin now whether in 2WD or 4WD. The performance gained off road more than makes up for the little extra I am paying in gas. That is up to you to decide for you, though.

The instructions that come with the Aussie Locker are very clear. It really is an easy install, especially if you are one of the lucky few who don't have to remove the ring gear to get the pinion shaft out. Even if you do it's a really simple install.

Thanks for the pic, Tennessee. Where did you get those tail light guards? I've been looking for a set for quite some time and can't find them anywhere.

the only way it wouldnt is if you have the vacuum disco, where your drivers side shaft and spiders still spun, and your passenger side outer and mid shaft still spun.
