"Jordan,

I have contacted the manufacturer on this question before. This manifold is a direct oem replacement manifold and no smog sticker is needed. Although it is a header style it is considered a direct oem replacement.

Thank You,

That's the response I got when I asked if it was CA legal/if I would need a sticker to verify it. And there's the guy's name, email and number if you want to contact him with any other questions.

Thanks, will order one tomorrow. I also read elsewhere on this site that it had a lifetime warranty. I talked to a rep earlier from ineedparts and he said it only had a 1 year warranty.

I got the new APN header installed the other day, nice quality piece. I have a M.O.R.E. bomb proof motor mount kit installed and just by looking at the header, I was almost positive it wasnt going to fit. It did though, I had to minimally grind the top of the 1/4 inch thick mount and grind down a weld on the header at the #1 runner at the Y. That gave me about .060 clearance. Also, I followed the great R&R write up here on the forums. What I did that made it a bit easier. Instead of taking the intake manifold completely off, I disconnected only what I had to (throttle cables, fuel lines and 4 vacuum lines and laid the manifold back over onto the valve cover while i swapped out the header. Install was a bit easier too.
