Anyway to stop rust?
I seen two spots of rust today
One in the front passenger wheel well ( right near the start of the passenger door, in the wheel well ) and one spot in rear passenger cubby hole in the back. My interior is pulled out, so I can see the rust that would be :inside: if the rear passenger quarter panel.
So what Im asking is there anything that can be applied over the rust to stop it?

OR
scrape, sand and apply rust treatment followed by a coating (paint, bed liner, etc).
OR
If you can get the part off then soak it in Evaporust. After all the rust is gone take it out, scotchbrite the part, clean with brake cleaner and paint.

Not on this planet.... You can slow it down, but you can't stop it. You prevent rust by preventing exposure of the steel to air, moisture and dirt.
get a really big ziplock bag, and put ur jeep in it, in a climate controlled room....lack of air in the bag and a climate control room, would surely stop it....but u cant drive around that way

the por is your best option. I have seen that stuff fix a rust spot for 10 years on my dodge. You can scrape the rust of then put this jelly on it ( forget the name) that removes rust. Then clean it with brake cleaner and put the por on

You can also spray it with Fluid Film. It was designed to rustproof ocean going ships. It will never dry, though. It will stay soft like Vaseline and creep, so it's best used where it won't be likely to be handled on a regular basis. It will also need to be reapplied every year or so.
I have a brother in law who lives right near the ocean in northern Californis where the salt air causes rust pretty bad. He sprays all of his farm equipment with drain oil and says it works good for stopping rust.
