Default Anyone used a Walker 44320 pipe on a Cherokee?

I almost exclusively buy from Advance Auto due to their coupons. They and even Walker's online catalog do not list 44320 as fitting a 88 Cherokee 4.0, but other sources do. Has anyone actually used this pipe on a 87-90 Cherokee? It is non-stocked and will have to be ordered, so I don't want to make a mistake.

Walker has this part# going on a 87-90 Comanche (which looks close to me), but what is nagging at me is why they'd confuse and possibly turn away customers if the same part fit the Cherokee too. Thanks.

Quadratech website says it will fit http://www.quadratec.com/products/51403_10.htm

If it does not fit, return it.

I'm pretty sure I used 44626. Are you missing parts and that's why you want to use this? My '87 doesn't have a cat so I put a resonator where the CAT goes (which bolts with a flange) and then the muffler and then tail pipe. What are you hooking up? I don't think 44320 has a port for the O2 sensor so you'd need to use the port on the exhaust manifold.

Looked it up again, I've got a 91 engine in my '87 so that's why I used 44626 so that the O2 port is there.

MonacaYankee, thanks. I saw that, but other sources said "no". Returning an exhaust pipe can be expensive.

67 GMC, No I am not missing any parts. I want to use 44320 because I think it is the right part and am getting conflicting information from different suppliers. Advance Auto carries 44320, but warns me it does not fit may vehicle. They instead recommend a $112 Omix-Ada part.

MayerMR, thanks. It may help others to know I did some further research using the factory number and it say it is used on both the Cherokee and Comanche. Oddly Walker has no listing for an 1988 Cherokee, but does for the 1988 Comanche. The part they (and Advance Auto) recommend for the Comanche is 44320.

Amazon shows Walker 44320 as a fit for 1988 Cherokee Laredo. Same fit until 1991. Check where your O2 Sensor is attaching though as I mentioned previously before you get ordered up.
