Cause I am leaning towards back and the OP was looking for the front.
They are for the front of the leaf. I bought one for the passenger side.
My Jeep's original hanger had the spring eye come through under the back seat and
the rider there felt it on every bump. That first happened about six years ago and I had a
local welder fix it and it held up several years. But the plate that holds the weld nut
disintegrated from rust and I admit the Jeep has been overloaded many, many times.
There have been more plate and big washers and nuts welded in there maybe five times
since then. After two months now it needs to get welded again. So I bought the
Dorman hanger and hopefully we can get it put on soon.

Yesterday we got the Dorman leaf spring front hanger installed on the
passenger side of the Jeep. My mechanic worked with a local welder
here in my town in Ivory Coast. I drove it home and the squeaks and
crunches from that area are gone and the Jeep sits straighter. It will get
tested on the village roads tomorrow and this weekend.

Curious as to what that cost you?
Also as simple as cutting out the old one and welding in the new one?
Any reinforcement to the floor necessary in your case?
Hey Ralph didn't you say you were going to do this? I can't find your post.
No I am not.
The only reason I even posted on this thread was cause I think I knew what the OP needed.
I spend time looking at stuff on the internet about Jeeps. Some stuff I Google cause I am curious.
Some stuff I just run across by accident. Thinking to myself any of this might come in handy someday.
Looking at pictures also helps me educate myself on things.
In this particular instance this is a learning experience for me.
I hope to never need any of this info.
Doesn't mean I still won't try to educate myself about it.
This is why I love the forums. At some point in time any problem you might have
has probably been dealt with by somebody already.
So now I have first hand access to somebody who might doing this, Jeepwalker, and BwanaBob who has
just had this done.
Getting insight from people who might have first hand knowledge about stuff is always best IMO.
Hey, inquiring minds want to know. LOL.

Hi Ralph,
I went out this morning to talk to the welder since he had gone home already
when I picked up the Jeep last night. He said that he removed the old hanger with
a hammer and chisel. He is a big bear of a guy. Then he cleaned up the surface
with a portable grinder. He cut out a plate because the upper surface was rusted
away and welded it into place. Then with the help of the mechanic he got the
new hanger positioned and then welded it all around. He told me to get some
black anti-rust paint and paint up the welds since he didn't have any right then.
He asked for $25 for his work - the labor and the plate, and I gave him $15 extra
because Mother's Day here is this Sunday and he and his wife have four kids.
I gave the mechanic $15 for his part as well.
In the photo below you can see the plate he welded on above.

Hammer and chisel huh?
Would have never guessed that could be done.
Can't beat that price. $55 wow.
When you say he cut out a plate and welded it into place I am guessing you mean he reinforced the floor?
All in all I am really surprised that it was done that quick and that cheap. That is amazing.
Good for you.

The welder has a lot of scrap iron in his shed and he cut out a piece to size and welded it
in to reinforce the floor. I left the Jeep at 9:30 am and my mechanic called me at 4pm to
say it was done. For the welder that was all day because he works outside and there was
a big rainstorm right after that.
As for the price, Dave51 might be able to beat it.
Nice!! Yeah, the floor/rear seat is right above that mount and on my 95 (from Connecticut.. ) had rusted out above the spring but the brackets were in really good shape (probably had been replaced at some point). I just patched the floor above when I did my springs. The 4x4/Jeep specialty shop said that brackets are "supposed to be" connected to the floor, but that it was functionally unnecessary to connect them.
