Default Anyone know what these go to?

I cant seem to find wires that would go to these, theyre in the front passenger side of the engine bay, one set goes to the horn(single green wire) another to a plug to something that snakes under the batt tray and then these.... i cant figure out what they go to... i do know that whomever worked on this rig hooked them up to the from side marker lights.... and that was WRONG!! lol here are pics for reference.

Thanks

If I were you I would not "hook anything up" without a wiring diagram in hand (well maybe if I had a fire extingusher nearby). A quick google and pirate OEM manuals magically appear, try it.

I'm not, im going to leave them capped off until i can find out what they go to, i would assume since they were cut that there is a matching set of colored wires around there somewhere too..... was hoping the color of the wires would help anyone who could look under the hood of their 99xj.

I'll look for a wiring diagram and see what i can dig up on my own as well.

Thanks, Randy

Appears to be for the Ambient Temperature Sensor. The Violet/Light Green tracer wire is the Temp sensor signal and the Black/Light Blue tracer wire is the sensor ground. Both wires went from the temp sensor to the overhead display.

Edit: My '99 is wired for it but I don't have an ambient temp display or the sensor. My temp sensor connector is located on the front bumper frame just below the radiator mechanical fan.

Most definitely not fog light wires. Most likely are the battery temp sensor wires judging by their location.
