Anyone broke open the Pinch weld behind rear tire??

Im not sure if i did this or it was like that But how have you guys fixed it? since the trunk is open i need to Re-weld it.

my thoughts are to put them back together and run a small bead to seal it up.

mine is cut and folded up under there due to rust and stuff. let me see if i can find the thread for you.
