Default Anybody try the Durango/Dakota steering box upgrade?

Title explains it. I want to upgrade my steering box before any more wheeling. My steering wheel literally goes all over when on the trail, I get DW around 55mph after replacing the stabilizer and track bar within the year, and I feel some decent play in it. I'm hoping a new or used Durango/Dakota/OEM box will tighten the steering up and be tougher. I want to go on a Rauch Creek trip here in PA soon but I don't want to risk it. My jeep is at stock height with 235s if that helps any. This is a big reason I'm backing out of the trip at the end of the month, so if I can get it done before then I'll be ecstatic

Also, if anybody can give me specs of what box to use, hints on the swap, other upgrades to go along with it, tools needed, how involved the job is, I'll really appreciate it. Any info you got I'll listen to. Thanks!

I did a search, not much came up. I always search first before I make a new thread.

Lets say your control are bushings are trashed (a real strong possibility after 23+ years) if so, a new "anything else" won't fix it.

Those are getting replaced with my lift, hopefully in the summer time. But honestly they aren't that bad. I searched again and found dukie's writeup on the swap. I must've overlooked it before. I hope this thread will get me some more opinions on the swap though.
