Default Anybody paint rear tailslights?

I have seen it before but dont know where. I want to make the orange on the rear tails red or smoke the whole thing or both. Has anybody done this and what did you use.

it may be illegal to paint your tail lights.
you should just look for some waggy tail lights. they're all red, no orange.

I thought I had seen where there is some transparent paint of some sort. Waggy's wouldnt fit I dont think on my 98'

I know Dude In a XJ painted his tail lights. He mainly just painted them and left two circles so they would look different though.

I've used VHT night shade spray paint on multiple vehicles and it works great. Just requires some wet sanding with some fine sand paper, a couple coats, and a couple layers of clear coat. Only takes about 2 hours to complete.

good point.

well, you can try tinting them with limo tint or there is a plastic paint called VHT Nightshade. ricers use it rice up their junk.

personally, the tint film is a reversible process.
