Anybody ever UN-lift a Cherokee
I am pretty fed up with all the negatives to having a lifted cherokee and the DW. I have replaced the entire front end and had it aligned and it is still bad so I want to remove the pro comp lift thats on it and go back to stock height.
I don't really do any real 4 wheeling so the lift is useless. I really just use it for dirt roads and DDing.
Is this a bad discission or would I be better off stock height with larger tires. I just can't have a freeway jeep that wants to kill me if I go over 60...

I have replaced the Drag link, Tie bar, and Track bar. And all associted Ball joints.
Also this is not a beat down 100K plus jeep it is a 37K brand new looking 2000.
Thats the main problem I don't have the stock stuff. Is there some type on stok set up that is a little nicer. I really do't want to put on some one elses wrecked stock stuff...

How long did you drive it with death wobble before you started to fix it?
It could be a worn out trac bar mount on the axle from getting too much death wobble, or something in steering just isn't tight like it should be. Also, could be loose control arm bolts or bad control arm bushings, but the bushings are unlikely.
A t-case drop isn't going to have an effect with front alignment and death wobble issues.
Well, you have almost replaced everything as it is so...

x2 on the bumps and ball joints.

The Track bar mount had a relocation deal on it so I doubt that is warn out. I did replace the Track bar with a Tera Flex adj one.
Do you think the ball joints on the axel are dead? I mean at 37K they shouldn't be...
