There's a valve or whats also known as a "petcock" wich will be located on the lower right (passenger) side of the radiator, unscrew it, make sure you have a bucket underneath it, and let drain, make sure your radiator cap is off at this time. When its done draining, tighten the drain plug, wipe away any coolant that got on any steering components, then simply begin to fill the radiator, when filling it, keep an eye at the level of coolant at the filler neck (where your radiator cap attaches) when you see that it is staying visible, or at the base of the neck, start your vehicle, and let it run while, the system will have air pockets in it, running the vehicle will allow the coolant to circulate and thus "BURPING THE BABY" or burping the coolant system, you might have to add a little more coolant at this time. Watch your level again, when you can see the coolant level maintaining and not bubbling, then you should be set, don't forget to fill your overflow resevoir to the proper fill line.! Hope it helps.

89 is Renix, closed loop cooling system. Filling it up isn't the same as yours, no radiator cap.

The easiest way is pull the lower radiator hose, when you fill it make sure the radiator is lower than the fill tank.Fill it,leave the cap off then start it with the heater on till it comes to temp so all the bubbles work there way out of the system.

^^^^ This. Don't try the petcock on the bottom of the radiator, the LOVE to break off. Just pull off the lower radiator hose to drain.

That also involve changing the overflow bottle and depending on location, lots of cash for a new radiator.

Moroso makes a splice in Tee that is less.than 35$, that is another option.
