Another wiring/light/dash thread, sorry !
Hi All,
Having just made my intro thread I'm now after picking the brains of your esteemed membership ! I have a '97 Cherokee sport 2.5 TD my problems are ;
No dash/ shift lights.
When indicating a left turn both indicator lamps are flashing right turn is fine, number plate light is fine as are all the rest of my lights, no blown fuses, no knackered lamp bulbs.
Frankly I don't know where to start
I could do with a manual to show mw how to take the dash apart but I don't know which to buy if I search for a workshop manual for my car the Wagoneer comes up at least in Haynes manuals, any idea if this is right ?
Thanks and Hello
Martin

Seems to me you got yourself a short!
Start at the fuse box, wiggle some stuff around, tug on things.. anything comes loose, you may have found the issue. if thats a no go, you might have to look at replacing the signal switch. This is a fairly common problem with these garbage switches.
