What is the black plastic box? It lives on the passenger side of the driveshaft tunnel right near where the parking prake cable comes thru the floor.
The bolt that secures it to the floor is not tight. Should it be?

The transmission has been lowered to assist in removing the engine so there is more clearance in the picture than there will be when its (hopefully) back together.

I know I am getting old, but you guys who say pulling the 4.0 engine is simple lie! I've pulled many engines, but this has been the most difficult yet. To really top it off, I got the spline tool set for those top transmission bolts and lost it. I mean it was on the 2'-3- of extensions, I came out from under the truck, and it wasn't on the extensions. neither was it on the bolt, or on top of the transmission, or on the floor, or in my pocket....
In defiance of all we know of the space-time continum, it vanished! Maybe it went to the future, and I'll soon catch up with it.

Thanks,
I needed to vent.

I appreciate the help.

Got, OK.

Seems like a lot of holder for a wiring connection. Not arguing. Just looks like overkill.

Thanks.
