Default another tire/rim question

Hey guys, I may be buying a used set of 15x7 american racing rims with 30x9.5s and was wondering if i wanted to upgrade to 31s later if the 7 inch ones will be ok. I would normally go 15x8 but the price is right for these guys. Let me know what you think. thanks

7" wheel will be fine. Generally the rule is no more than 4" difference in width between wheel and tire, with wheel being the smaller one of course.

got a set of 33x12.50 TSL's on my 15x7 and 285/75r16's on my 16x7's have been running those for more than a year now everything is fine. You should be just fine with 31's considering most manuf. sell you a 15-17x7" with 31's on it :P
