Default another starting problem kinda

Ok so my jeep atleast starts. Thats a pos. But it takes a while to start like spins over a little before starting. A buddy of mine said its a jeep thing but I would like to think it can be fixed. The jeep has new plugs, wires and stuff. You can hear the fuel pump. So, Im not sure if that is a problem. I get normal miles from a tank. Any suggestions on what to look at or should I just leave it at "its a Jeep thing"
Thanks
Frankie

Yeah mine does this sometimes too. Cranks over for a little longer sometimes. And sometimes it will spit and sputter then start. I have no idea what it is. I was leaning to a low/dieing battery or a bad O2 sensor maybe.

I tried to do the priming thing and got nothing. Same old thing, wouldnt start right away. I am basically used to it, but I still would like to have it fire right up.

You should only have to put the key into the Run position for a few seconds and then start the vehicle. Not by turning it to Run, then off, then back to Run.

On my grand cherokee, I put the key into the Run position for a few seconds then start it up. If starts quicker than just trying to start it right away.
