Exactly! Thats the part i was referring to. Chrome paint? Where can i get some? And although i haven't posted any pics yet, i am not going for a "show jeep." I'm not really deep into wheelin' yet, but i love jeeps and i go hunting A LOT. (and i don't like driving around things that aren't sharp)
Chrome cowl, sounds as sweet as spinning wheels!!!...NOT SWEET AT ALL! Chrome on an XJ is like purfume on a pig, it don't make sense!! Painting an XJ with a rattle can, now that is sweet!!
Im not sure this is it but I think they used it on TruckU so might check there website and dublicolors as well

Auto parts store should have some as well as maybe even walmart..Also a place like home depot might as well as a car paint store...Although I think I would have is sand blasted and take it to a chromer and have it dipped...will last much longer and look a whole lot better...Nice thing about it is even though one doesn't like it doesn't mean you won't..Not my style but then again some may not like my red neck ways of doing things..

You can buy chromed cowls right out of about any catalog for those poor lost SWB souls....
Look in your local phone book for metal platers.. they can either chrome a piece or know who does it. It can be expensive.... We re-chromed a bumper once with that chrome paint from Eastwood.. Its expensive. It works... But DON'T EVEN ATTEMPT IT INSIDE A CLOSED SPACE.... Wow.... I thought I was on tour with the Dead.....
Here is a link to chrome stuff at Eastwood Automotive.
