Default Another problem putting new coil in. Help!

Put the new coil in for a 3" RC lift and when I was bolting the little metal strap on that hold the last coil of the coil in I stripped the threads on the frame. I guess I don;t know how to use an impact wrench. The threads on the bolt are fine.. Now what??? Buy a bigger self tapping bolt? Rethread the frame and use a bigger bolt? Please help. Thanks in advance.

Impact guns are for disassembly... ratchets are for assembly. If you use an impact for install you are gonna end up breaking a lot of things.

I agree with this statement...

Retread and go bigger.

I agree with what everyone has said. Impact wrench only for disassembly and ratchet for reassembly. Impact wrench will go beyond torque requirements and will strip threads.
