pins on ecm look fine the the connecters look ok I cleaned them both ones in c3 connecter hard to see but wiggle them and still nothing

anyone have a schematic for the cruise control for 96 xj still cant get cruise light on steering wheel to go out

ready to send this thing back to its owner, big mistake trying to help him out

cant find a plug at base of steering column to unplug so I took trim off and unplugged clock spring still no start but I did find 2 wires on ignition switch melted back about 1/2 inch from plug

now have to figure out what they are for and if shorted somewhere else.figure that might be what's causing cruise light to stay on all the time.

What a nightmare this thing is
