Just recently I have been having this hard start issue. Last week I turn the key and there is no power at all. Got out locked and unlocked it with the remote and it started up just fine. No problem since until yesturday. Starts fine in the morning but struggles to start in the afternoon. The weather has been a little warmer. I changed my plugs and took my injectors out to replace the seals. Replace injector 3 because I had a new one and it looked a little dirty. Today it struggled to start up again. Could it just be the starter going bad even though it seems to only happen in the afternoon? I researched it a bit on here and in other sites but I am having a problem finding any follow up with actual solutions. Oh and I had the battery and alternator tested and they were fine.

 

I had the same problem. Replaced the starter and ok for awhile. sometimes it would start sometimes not. Found out had a bad connection inside the battery.

Check all the connections from battery to starter, could be a ground also.

I thought about bad battery connections. The connectors look a little rough and they could use a little cleaning. I went out about 30mins ago and it fired up right like brand new. So I dont know...It fires up in the morning and runs and idles fine. In the afternoon it struggles to fire.
