Yes it does matter.

The + cord frequency will conflict with RCA frequency making a small magnetic field

Hmm...interesting. I have the remote, RCA and power cables all together running from the battery / deck to the amp in the with no issues. Same with my TL, and every other car i've owned.

There is distortion, your just used to it. If I were listening to it I would probably ask you why your bass is so sloppy.

Hmm...guess i never noticed. So you're saying the the negative RCA should be ran by itself, along the opposite side of the car? Can the power, pos rca, and remote be ran together?

No.....speaker and RCA's should be run on the opposite side of the power wires.....never on same side. That can cause noise.

Correct, driver side=RCA/Remote/Accessory, Passenger side=Power cable
