hey guys

so had 4 cel codes on my 97 cherokee and finally got down to one left for fixing!! the last code is the ambiant temp sensor and i believe it is the one located under the battery? is there any way to bypass this sensor as it doesnt seem to do much...

any suggestions would be great thanks guys!

 

If it's the outside temp sensor, you're right.. all it does is send a signal to your console to tell you to wear a sweater or not
If you don't want to replace it, i'd just ignore it (the code) You can always check for new codes once in a while

 

its less than 20 bucks for the sensor, id just go ahead and replace it..its actually behind the front bumper. You have an overhead console then correct?
