Whenever I go over a large bump I smell gas in the cab. Or whenever the gas gauge is at full I smell it as well. 93 Jeep Cherokee 4.0 4wd aw4 trans. Help me not die. Thanks!

To answer your gas related issue and the above question: don't light a sig while you drive

How about you have a check for fuel leaks somewhere?

 

Probably a leaky fuel pump assembly gasket. I think 93 still has the front center mounted one, so its easy to have a leak. Check under there, check to see if any things leaking.

No way to tell what's going on until you stick your head under there & see what's going on.
You need to look under the hood too, could be a faulty fuel rail, regulator, line........etc.

 

Wow big bumps do that to you? Only time I get that is when I eat a lot of greens.

 

Pro tip: If you can smell gas, there's a leak. Get looking!

Lol tightened my gas cap and it went away.
