Felpro gasket. RTV. Gotta scrape that mounting surface clean. Old gasket may be caked on there and it may look like its flat and clean but take a narrow flat head screwdriver on it and more crap will scrape off. Keep cleaning until you get to pretty metal. Make sure your gasket is not slipping out of place before you tighten up.

thank you, I get this done in the garage because I can't do it myself! Do you think garage people don't do their work well? or this happens because of the high temperature (over 50) ?

Your garage guys aren't doing something right.

I have never had mine leak there.

Buy a new outlet, gasket and make sure both surfaces are really clean.

You can do it yourself. All you need is a 13mm wrench...

It's about an easy do it yourself as you can get. You don't even need to mess with the belt. Couple of bolts, remove the two hoses and thermometer.

One other thing to mention: I've seen the housing crack due to ''making sure is won't leak' and tightning the bolts too much.
Like above, clean surfaces thoroughly, RTV/sealant both sides of gasket, (might as well check if the thermostat is positioned correct while you're there) and tighten the bolts just snug.
Let us know how you go with this.

I'm somewhat puzzled by the color of what's leaked out.

Can you see exactly where it's coming from ? Are you sure it's not leaking around the heater/rad hose? I like to tighten them up when their warm. Also theres people out there that think tighter is better and bend the ears on the thermostat housing. When I do a housing for the first time I put a sheet of sandpaper on the table of my table saw (nice and flat) and lightly sand the face of the housing making it true again.
