I don't know much about that alternator you posted either but I just wanted to throw in that if you will be putting in that beefy of an alternator, you're going to need ALL new cables. And you're gunna need 1 gauge wire (a lot thicker of wire).
Check out this website:

And also check out all the links within the site and you'll get a better idea of what you are getting yourself into with upgrading the alternator.
For your 89, with that size alternator, you'd need Part# RXJ-242-F from Kelley's WiP. So I guess I am posting this so that you are aware that you will be spending as much if not more on cables than the alternator itself.

I googled that brand alternator and came up with mixed reviews. Probably more bad than good, although people tend to complain more than praise..
A quality, brand-new aftermarket high-output alternator tends to start in the $300-$400 range. This one is much less. You usually get what you pay for. Sometimes less, almost never more. JMHO, for what it's worth.
The best alternators made, hands down are Zena. They survive almost anything and will put out their rated power full-time without smoking. But you're going to pay a hefty price and probably have to do some custom fab.

For direct fit it's tough to beat DC Power:

But back to the point...none of the known good stuff can be had for $197. For that price, some corner(s) were cut somewhere.
