Alright I've gotta 96 Cherokee with the 2.5L 4x4 with a 5 speed. My issue is that the previous owner rigged a different alternator and mounting bracket up which the alternator was bad so I wanted to go back to stock. I found a stock bracket for it and put the right alternator on and a bypass pulling for the A/C. My problem is I'm not matching up with the harmonic balancer. Curreny doesn't have the idler pulley on the mount and no power steering pump. Not worried bout that right now. What can I do to get everything to match up without having to throw a belt. Bypass pulley and alternator is currently sitting in about and inch off being flush.
