Are all XJ D30 axle housings the same?

Are all XJ D30 axle housings the same?
I know the 2000-01 are LP. I also know that there are different u-joints, carriers, gearing, splines, etc throughout the years.
What I'm asking specifically is whether or not the HOUSINGS are the same.
I'd like to build up a new D30 for my XJ with all the WJ stuff and some reinforcement but would like to do it on an axle NOT currently in my Jeep - so I want to buy another one.
Will any year be sufficient since the axles/carrier/gears/etc are irrelevant?
