yea haha believe me I would love to get some killer m/t's but I just cant do it when I got to put some serious miles on my xj. I wish I could but its my only vehicle now. Im graduating college and heading back to michigan in spring so I need a good road tire. Next set will be m/t's after this. haha

I thought treadwrights were re-treads?
They are but still very good tires. I've heard they wear out faster than a brand new tire but not much. The MTR for example is supposed to get about 100 000km and the treadwrigth will do 75-80 000km. But its 100$ cheaper per tire. for the price of the MTR in my eyes it would have to do 180 000km in order for me to consider it. It doesnt so I got Treadwright.

I know a lot of people bought them when they were in school simply because of the price. Now they are out of school making more than enough to afford a the real MTRs and they still buy Treadwrights because of the quality and price.

Their website is the only place i know of. but Americans have a lot more options than we do when it comes to retailers.

alright guys Ive decided to go with the treadwrights. I cant pass up the price. I can even afford a full size spare! and 90 bucks a tire. I think I may as well graduate up to some 33's haha. but thanks for the input everybody.
